relapse...

Some of you may remember this post on habits...my habit being biting my nails.

For as long as I can remember I've done it.
When I'm nervous, anxious, happy, sad...okay, so pretty much any mood!
I've tried pretty much everything, my parents have tried everything, friends....even Kalob has tried to help me cut the habit...
but again, no luck.
I thought I had cut the habit back in June when I decided that I would paint my nails every single day, so the polish was new, and perfect...who would want to ruin that?
I went about 29 days without biting my nails, until one day...it happened.
I relapsed!
It's been down hill from there.

So this past weekend, I caved.

I got my nails done. finally.
I've had nails ever since I was 15years old, until I started working in the dental field and wasn't able to have them on...so this has been a long time coming.
I know alot of people think they look cheap, or trashy...
I, on the other hand, absolutely love them.
I feel pretty.
I've noticed that I use my hands more when I talk because I'm comfortable with people seeing my hands.
I'm not hesitate to show my hands.
I feel like it's a small price to pay to make me feel good!
Trashy to some.
Beautiful to others.
No more relapses for me, because
On my fingers, they will stay! :)

  4. I was just about to say girl get some acrylics there's no way you can bit those off! I used to nail bite all the time getting mine done really did help break the habit and even after I took them off I was able to refrain from biting. They look great :)

  5. The only way I can keep from biting my nails is when I have acrylics on. I personally love them but can't afford to keep the habit up. :(

  6. When I was younger that is the only way I would stop biting my nails too! And I loved the way they looked. If it helps, do it girl!

  7. I've only had my nails done 2 times but I love the look! It helps me too, cause I bite my nails REALLY bad! I've finally let 4 of the nails on my right hand get long, but 0 on my left, so you can just imagine how beautiful that looks!
Stopped over like I said I would and realized I was already a follower!
