just a little Nana...

You know that saying...
"No one can determine your attitude, but you"
Yeah- well, I think that is a complete pile of poo!
[what a great way to start off a positive post right?!]

Let's just say, this lady pictured above, has made this little boy,
normally overly, extremely happy... even happier.
She has made me feel on top of the world, and has confirmed...I'm doing okay!
Nana came to visit this past week [hence the lack of a blog.] and it was exactly what I needed to re-amp & get collected.
They cuddled, played, ate, slept, and played some more.
Although the weather took a turn for the worse...
we managed to step out, dig out some winter clothes, and walk it out!
Let me just explain, this boy has never once held my hand while we have walked, but as soon as Nana comes, he holds her hand around the whole pond!

Even with snot frozen to his face, and the pinkest, coldest nose ever...he has a smile on his face!
I don't think Hudson is going to know what to do with himself when he wakes up in the morning and finds that Nana is not still here.
[Good thing we are headed to Boise to see everyone in just a few short weeks right?!]

As we all got in the car and headed the airport, I never thought about how sad Hudson would get when we dropped Nana off, said goodbye, and she walked away. He cried, really cried, for the next 20min, and pointed out the window. Talk about break my heart.
We had an amazing time, and I can't express it enough...
Sometimes, you just need your mom!
[and your Nana!]

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!
Can't wait to catch up with you all!

  1. Your mom is beautiful!! So cute to see how happy he is. It is amazing to watch our children and parents bond. It just warms my heart.

  2. Your mom is gorgeous just like you!

  5. Hey following you back!! Your little one is the perfect combo of you two!! Hve a great day!

  6. Boy, can I relate! My Mom is the end all, be all of both my daughter and myself! We love her so much. Whenever she would visit and have to go home, my daughter and I (even our dog) would mope around the house for a day or two! LOL. You and your Mom are beautiful too, by the way!
