backyard....

It's amazing what some people can do to a rental home isn't it?!
When we arrived into town to check out what needed to be done to our home, we were shocked to walk into the backyard, and the grass was pretty much non-existent. With it being 90 degrees, I'm pretty sure that the grass would need water, right?!
Well, when Kalob decided to turn on the sprinkler system, the puzzle pieces started fitting together...

exhibit a:
 exhibit b:
 [clearly, that's not helpful]
exhibit c:
 [pretty much a mass flood]
exhibit d:
[I don't think the fence needs the water.]

I know, right?! Be shocked with me!
So with a few hours & an amazing husband who knows his stuff, the sprinkler system was fixed and free from dog chewed, broken sprinkler heads.
My parents have been aboslutely uh-maz-ing through this whole process and have been at the house ever single night since we have left, to make sure all the loose ends are tied, and the house is ready for the new tenants to move in...
I recieved this picture from my parents last night...
remember, we left only 5 days ago....
cRaZy what a little TLC and water can do right?! goodness gracious.
[No joke.]

We are fully aware that it could have been so much worse than it was,
and so grateful these are all fixable things.
When you own your own home, you know what it's like to be proud of something, proud to live there, proud to have your name on that property...well, we are finally starting to feel that wonderful "proud" feeling again with this house! It has been quite the learning experience, marriage builder, money spending, family bonding, time the last few weeks, but we are finally getting our home back to the way it was when we left!

2.) I've never seen Kalob spelled the same way as my brother, Kalob - it's normally with a "c" - I can't wait to tell him he is no longer along!
3.) I'm a new follower and totally looking forward to following you! Beautiful family!
