"yes"

besides my wedding day and the birth of my little pride and joy, I claim today as one of the best days of my life. A day that changed my life forever with one simple word coming out of my mouth.
2 years ago, I said "yes" to be this man's wife, to be the mother of his children, and to love him through thick and thin, sad days and happy, & through drama and not so dramatic days.
I love him so much more now than I ever could have been capable of back then. I'm incredibly lucky to have met him, to have dated him, to have gotten to know him, to have fallen in love with him, and to have him choose me to be with, by his side, for eternity.

We dated for a year...

 [we attended some amazing concerts!]
[we fell madly in love.]
[we talked for hours at night and watched music videos]
[made a trip to Wyoming to meet the cows..]
and finally, on a very cold, January night- we got engaged!

[found this piece of paper while we were moving...
the words, he said the night he proposed...
it now sits in a frame on my night stand.]

We planned our future, And in May 2010, we were married, for time and all eternity in the Boise, Idaho Temple in a room full of our friends and family, and even more waiting for us outside to show their love and support.
Little did we know, that day, would change our lives,
so much more than we could have ever imagined.
We left for our honeymoon the next day, came home a week later to a phone call telling Kalob that he had been offered a position in Windsor, Colorado. He started work 3 weeks later. The next two months are still a blur...but somehow we managed to live in seperate states for a month, rent out our home in Boise, finish all projects, pack up our lives, and "pensked" our stuff on the long trip to Colorado.
3 short months later, to our suprise, we found out we were expecting a baby, and in April 2011, just before our first anniversary we welcomed Hudson James Komma.
And our lives have yet to slow down!
It's crazy to me to look back on our lives, and realize that day, 2 years ago, led us here.
I don't know what I would do with Kalob in my life, as my husband, and as the most amazing father to Hudson. My decision is re-confirmed multiple times a day, when I get a "goodmorning, made it to work, love you" text every single day [but not before 8am], Hudson's face when Kalob walks through the door after work, listening to the games Kalob comes up with to entertain Hudson for just a few more minutes before bed time, and the way he works, so incredibly hard, to provide for our little family.
so glad he asked, so glad I said yes.
