I know that I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I know that I'm not the only one who wishes it was around years ago.

Pinterest.

namely that wedding category.

I absolutely loved our wedding.

Everyone that walked in said that it was "totally me".

It was my exact vision, colors and all.

I had been planning my wedding for years.

I had a few tubs of magazine, color coated notebooks, invitations, fabric samples...you name it, I had it.
I kept everything, I signed up for everything, and I attended every wedding reception we were invited too.

I think this tweet from my best friend in high school sums it up....

 @commawithaK 's wedding notebook and box was THE Pinterest before it ever existed.

I've also been known to tell me husband that I wish we could get married again again...5 times...

because of Pinterest. Of course it would be to him...just a different dress, colors, location...


Who would have thought of having their wedding in a barn 5 years ago??!...honestly.

and I can promise you that this wasn't around...

well clearly someone did...but it wasn't me apparently.
I won't lie...my wedding and reception were pretty amazing...
and we had some pretty amazing details...

-The hubby and I actually made our own wedding cake.

- I made all of our bouquets and boutonnieres 

 

 - We designed & made our own invitations.  [I don't have a picture of the back]

 -We had customized cookies with our initials on them.

- My grandma made and sewed all of our table-runners and cake table cloth. She's amazing.

  - oh and, my brother was pretty awesome and wrote this on our get-away car! :)

BUT just think about the possibilities...all thanks to pinterest.

So if you are not yet married...do me a favor and use Pinterest to the fullest.
I'm sure I will look at your boards over and over and over again....totally normal right?!
