pearl joy.

I woke up this morning with every intention of writing a post about how my weekend was without the hubby...but I just couldn't sit down and write the post. My heart has been so incredibly full the past few weeks after reading about little ms pearl joy brown. I just couldn't pass up the chance to introduce her and her story to the rest of you...especially because this little girl has had such an impact on my life already, and I don't even know her or her family.
At the Browns’ 20-week prenatal appointment, Pearl was diagnosed with alobar holoprosencephaly (HPE), a neural disease, & in short causes the brain and facial features to not form correctly & has very low chances of survival. The brown's were told by a specialist that they should induce labor and terminate the pregnancy.
Thankfully they chose to follow their hearts and fight for little Pearl....
and they are still fighting.
Pearl is still fighting!

Today I feel so blessed to be apart of a link-up with Carly & Amanda...
letters to pearl.
where there will be letters flowing in from all over the world
about how Pearl has changed you,
how she has helped you,
how she has moved you...

I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that she has done just that.
dear pearl,
Pearl, if there one thing that I could say to you...it would be thank you. I don't think there are words to describe how many lives you have changed, in the best way. You have helped me live each and every day to the very fullest; to be so incredibly thankful for life. You are a beautiful daughter of God, and if I know one thing, it is that He has the most amazing plan for you and your family. I hope you know just how much you are loved, how many people are fighting for you, pulling for you, and praying for you, every single day. You have amazing potential, Pearl. You are beautiful inside and out...don't you dare let anyone ever tell you differently.  "Keep your head up. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest little soldiers!"
