Today I'm linking up with some fabulous ladies for a little "me, myself and I"
So fun right!?
Join in!
1. What is your biggest phobia? The dark and a fire. A fire in the dark. Gives me chills and sends my anxiety level through the freakin' roof just typing it. I've always been scared of the dark, mainly because I'm pretty much blind without some form of correction [which is why I sleep in my contacts...every single night], and I've always been terrified of being in a house fire. I used to live on the top level of my childhood home, and every other room had an escape...except mine. So my parents bought one of those excape ladders...funny thing was, I couldn't lift it! I would sit up at night and pray not to dream about fires, not to be in a fire, and heaven forbid there was a fire, I could get out. Now that I have a baby, I sleep with our bedroom door open, and make sure there is a clear path to H's room...just in case. Wow, I sound a little cRaZy huh?! 2.If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why? I think about this question all the time, and I always come to the conclusion that the day "H" was born would certainly be that day! I know that alot of women would hate to go through the labor process over and over again, but my experience was nothing short of amazing... [read about it here]. It was the most physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, grueling day of my entire life, but it will always be a day that I'd
ant to relive, over and over. Nothing else to compare it to.
3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? 23. random right?! The reason I say 23 [last year] is because everything I'd ever wanted in my life was happening all at once! I was married, pregnant with my first baby & working in the dental field. Although I love where my life is now, I will never forget how amazing that year treated me!

4. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
I don't think anyone, ever, has told me that I look like anyone actually...maybe it's a good thing, maybe it's a bad thing...or maybe it's just my hair! :) 5. What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? Oh this one is so hard for me, mainly because my "soundtrack" changes daily...But...
- Guardian Angel [the red jumpsuit apparatus]
- Good Life - [one republic]
- More than Anyone - [gavin degraw]
- What doesn't Kill You [kelly clarkson]
- New Perspective [panic at the disco]
- Everything's Going To Be Alright [bob marley]
- Two is Better Than One [boys like girls ft taylor swift]...
[this was our first dance song]
- Skyway Avenue - [we the kings]
Now go link up and have an amazing Tuesday!

I already follow you but I'm visiting from the hop. What Doesn't Kill You - great song choice. And hearing about your lack of childhood fire escape freaks me out a little, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little scared of the dark too. I'm scared of looking out the window in the dark, I'm always afraid someone is going to be outside looking in.
ReplyDeleteI love your comment "maybe it's just my hair" too cute!
Stopping over from the GFC blog hop! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follwer! can't wait to read more!
ReplyDeleteI agree about wanting to relive the day my kids were born. yes, it was difficult and scary but there is no moment in the world like the moment you see your child for the first time.
ReplyDeleteOoooh loved your answers lady loo!! AND I hate the dark. I literally RUN into my bedroom when I turn out the lights in the family room. Or if I'm in the basement, I make my dog go down first before me. PATHETIC! :)
ReplyDeleteThe dark is terrifying. That was my phobia, too! Having never given birth, I think you're cray cray for wanting to relive that, but I'll go read the story and give you benefit of the doubt ;) I almost put More than Anyone on my soundtrack, but I didn't. Such a great song - actually all of those songs are good :)
ReplyDeleteThat is super freaky about your fire phobia. I went to one of those fire and safety presentations (the ones where they bribe you with a free steak dinner) and ending up buying a commercial grade fire alarm system- it might help calm your nerves at night! The day your baby was born sounds amazing- I've never given birth (and it's actually one of my phobias!) but I hope to have an experience like that one day. Oh and that Guardian Angel song is one of my favorites :) Thanks for linking up girl!!
ReplyDeleteLets see, even at the nice ripe age of 25, I am terrified of the dark, and I'm not really a fan of fire either. I absolutely love that song Good Life by One Republic, and I don't think I've ever been mistaken for a star either. It's nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower via the GFC hop. Feel free to swing by my blog and check it out.
The Importance of Being Reese

I can relate to the house fire phobia. I have always had nightmares that the house (whatever house I loved in at the time) caught fire and I make it out but I can here all our animals outside trying to get out ..... which wouldn't happen anyway because I'd likely die trying to save them! Now that I also have a son I worry about that even more.
ReplyDeleteSuperb blog! Do you have any recommendations for
ReplyDeleteaspiring writers? I'm hoping to start my own site soon but I'm a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option?
There are so many choices out there that I'm totally confused .. Any tips? Thanks a lot!
