north stars...

Because I'm still in the process of un-packing...okay I honestly haven't even started, and I still haven't looked through all the pictures from our little vaca last week...
This post is going to be pretty epic. Just letting you know!
Okay, maybe not epic, but epically delicious!
That's right...a recipe!
I had a meeting last night for church and was asked to bring an appitizer. I really didn't want to do the lame store bought chips and salsa, I had just gotten back into town, so I needed something simple and quick, so I decided to make some North Stars!
Oh, you haven't heard of them!?
Yeah, because if you type in North Stars in your search bar, it's going to take you a L  O  N  G time to find this recipe! So I'm doing you a favor right. now.
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf baguette bread
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1 pkg Italian salad dressing- dry mix
- 1/2 cup mayo (NOT miracle whip)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
-Combine swiss chesse, salad dressing mix, mayo and sour cream.
-Set aside.
-Slice bread into 1/4 inch slices.
-Spead mix on bread.
-Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
For variation, add thin slices of cucumber, red/green peppers, or tomato's...
or more swiss cheese!
 So healthy for you right?!
WOAH!!! WOAH!!! WOAH!!!
 I never said that!

  5. This is the best recipe ever. I've been making it ever since my first Pampered Chef party about 15 years ago and it is probably the most favorite and most requested appetizer I make. Yummy!!!
