[the best] turkey burger recipe...

 Happy freakin' Monday ya'll.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend...
I know we did...full of sharks...
 but more on that later!
For now, the much anticipated and requested
 Turkey Burger Recipe.
I can not take any credit for this recipe...and for that I have to thank my amazing friend Ashley.
She has changed my mind on turkey burgers for sure.
I was nervous to compete with her burgers, but I have to say, I think I came [somewhat] close, and they were all sorts of goodness.

Ingredients:
1lb Ground Turkey
1 egg
1 jalepeno
1 small white onion
1/2 Green Pepper
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tub gorgonzola cheese crumbles
1 small red pepper
salt & pepper
2 tbsp worchestershire sauce

Directions:
1. Cut up your produce into small pieces. [I used a chopper.]
2. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. HINT: if your not able to make a patty with the consistency of your mixture, add more bread crumbs to get the right consistancy...I would hate for your burgers to fall apart on you!
3. Make your patties. We grilled ours on the bbq, but it would work just fine over the stove, I'm sure.

[because I know you will.]
You guys. I'm not even kidding...[this may sound dramatic] these were the most amazing burgers that ever entered my mouth. Now, I don't eat burgers all that much, so that may not be the most credible statement...but just trust me, they were pretty dang fabulous.
I ate mine without a bun or condiments to "health" it up, but Kalob loaded it up and hasn't stopped talking about them since. This recipe will now become a staple in our monthly meal plan...especially because we had leftovers for a few days, which makes this wife and mama so happy.
