babies make my heart happy.
plain and as simple as that.
Now, don't go asking my why I don't have 5 kids by now, because the answer to that would be
"you're absolutely crazy"...
but when I get a chance to be around babies,
especially the newborns, I jump at the chance...every single time.
So when I was asked to shoot a newborn session, of course I said yes.
It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my whole entire life. honestly.
She was older -pushing 3 weeks, so trying to get her to sleep without being alert and aware, was nearly impossible...
she cried just about the entire 4 hours I was there.
So there was a ton of creativity put in to this session on how we could possibly make this work to at least get one good, hang-able picture!
In the end... still the hardest thing I've ever photographed at 3 weeks old,
but totally worth every single minute I spent with this little peanut.

ReplyDeleteI used to be terrified of babies, and children in general. Until my friends had a baby and I gained a niece. Those two little onces made me baby crazy! I don't want one of my own anytime soon, but I love spending anytime I can with them.
