I was sitting in bed after I put Hudson to sleep, and was craving something sweet.
uhhhhgggggggg.
I've been trying so hard to eat healthy, and I know that by one bad eating choice, it just ruins what I worked
on that entire day...so to pinterest I went,
and I found this...
Apples baked in a bag people.
Apples baked in a bag!
via pinterest
Quick, easy, and delicious.
-1 large apple.
-1tsp sugar
-1tsp water
-1/4 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp cornstarch.
Put it in a ziploc bag and microwave for 2 min!
[no joke. that's it!]
Okay, so mine doesn't look nearly as appetizing as the one I saw on Pinterest, but I can promise you- it tasted just as good.
Best part?!
ONLY 59 calories!
You can't beat that right?!
I can also tell you it felt amazing eating this while watching The Biggest Loser last night!!!
I saw these on pinterest too and I'm dying to try them! Eating healthy with a sweet tooth is impossible it seems like.
ReplyDeletewow! those look pretty amazing!! I must try:)
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant! I have been craving sweets late at night like crazy and haven't been able to find something semi healthy to chow down on. Thanks for sharing :D
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this. Thank you for posting!
ReplyDeleteThat's terrific! Now I just need a microwave... :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks really tasty, but do you think it would work just as well in a glass or ceramic bowl? Really not too keen on microwaving anything in plastic...
ReplyDeleteI just made these. Mine turned out about as "pretty" as yours. I didnt have any cornstarch at work. I mean who does? So the sauce was running but still delish!
ReplyDeleteGross, you lost me at "plastic bag". In the microwave? Blech.
ReplyDeleteAnything apples and cinnamon works for me! Will be making this while I watch Dallas tonight. I'm also gonna put raisins in mine. I'm sure it can't go wrong. Thanks for the idea.:)
ReplyDeleteAre plastic bags safe in the microwave?
