stocked up...

Now that I have an idea of H's growth pattern, I'm ready to save me some money!

I've always been extremely frugal when it comes to clothes, especially baby clothes, since Hudson can wear a shirt for a few weeks, and then grows out of it. Remember, my 15month old is the average size of a 2.5 year old!

I'm thinking ahead, and now is the time to find NEXT summers clothing.

It took me some time, a lot of thought and preparation, but I set a goal of $75. Yep, you read that right. $75 for all of H's 2013 summer clothes.

And guess what? I did it!

Honestly, I was a little shocked myself, especially for how many items I got,

but we are stocked up!

7 polo shirts. [Works great for church, casual occasions, and nice outings.]

13 plain tees.

8 pairs of plaid & striped shorts.

2 pairs of cotton comfy shorts.

2 pairs of dressy chico shorts.

2 pairs of jeans.

2 pairs of swim shorts.

1 pair of shoes.

That's 37 items!
When I added everything up...

TOTAL: $73 and some change. [no joke!]

I shopped around at pretty much every single children's store.

Children's Place, Old Navy, Kohl's, Target, Crazy 8, Carters, Gymboree, Gap.

The biggest tip:

- I didn't buy anything in the stores.

- Everything was [and usually is] purchased on-line.

-I only had to pay shipping at one of these stores [crazy 8]

-I can always find at least 30-45% off with a promo code or just by simply buying online.

 -There is always a bigger selection and more sizes.

-I'm not scared to order bigger sizes!

-These are NOT ugly clothes. These are not cheap clothes.

I just found uh-maz-ing deals and prices!

Some people may think I'm flat out of my mind.

Some of you may think I'm actually genius,
and will follow in my footsteps after reading this post.

Some just may not put in the effort to do it.

I just don't understand why you wouldn't want to save hundreds!
Bring on summer 2013!
