We live in NJ with our 3 1/2 and 18 month old---just did a 12 hour drive to NC to see my family and today we just did a 12 hour journey to Iowa to see my husband's family. Crazy, yes, but you do what you have to do to see family! But as much as I love family----I always love being back in our old house and back to our routines and normal life! Traveling with little ones is NOT easy:)

-Julie
http://www.thechirpingmoms.comJulie Rogershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09706340538311857780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7238329985144881108.post-28360885892562082122012-07-07T16:51:37.614-06:002012-07-07T16:51:37.614-06:00We have done so much travel this summer that I now...We have done so much travel this summer that I now truly appreciate home. My son Judah and I have gone on all my husbands work trips this year so we have gone to Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, Florida, San Francisco and we are going to see my family in Connecticut soon. After all these trips, it feels so good to be home, to be in a routine, in familiar surroundings and not living out of a suitcase. Also it feels good to be home to decorate it, make it yours, have friends over and just really enjoy your neighborhood :-)
home is where the heat isMycharmingcolorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02546056836938625454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7238329985144881108.post-70264607694311088472012-07-02T17:32:58.934-06:002012-07-02T17:32:58.934-06:00Yay for making it! When I Moved out I started calling Logan ...I agree. When I Moved out I started calling Logan my "Home" because that is where I lived. But something about going home never felt like it did to walk into an empty apartment. I'd get teary EVERY TIME I would see the exit for my hometown :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14379419462484582642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7238329985144881108.post-63528058063184961832012-07-02T12:25:35.881-06:002012-07-02T12:25:35.881-06:00It's so true that there's no place like ho...It's so true that there's no place like home.
